Our Story.

Hi! I’m Erika Proctor, a New York native who has called Nashville home for over 10 years. I’ve spent several years working in tech while moonlighting as a Certified Group Fitness Instructor at a well-known Nashville-based studio, which has been dubbed “Nashville’s Hardest Workout.”

The road to launching Pushups + Prosecco started when I joined the unofficial ranks of the “COVID Brides,” AKA my now husband and I rescheduled our April 2020 wedding 3+ times due to the pandemic. We eloped anyway and finally had our Nashville wedding celebration in the Fall of 2021.

In planning my own Nashville bachelorette party in the days before the wedding — I couldn’t find the fitness experience my crew and I were looking for. I wasn’t feeling pole dancing or goat yoga, but knew I couldn’t drag my crew to my kind of intense workout without a few being too sore to walk down the aisle a few days later (and probably a little mad at me). My bridal party truly encompassed all fitness levels, from my Peloton queen bestie to a super buff bridesman, to a few others who are self-proclaimed workout haters (good thing they love me), and some who were even a few weeks postpartum. I wanted a fun, inclusive, private workout where we could listen to my favorite early 00’s club bangers, pop some post-workout bottles, and snap some cute Polaroids.

Such was the inspiration for Pushups + Prosecco: The Nashville bachelorette party workout that meets everyone where they are, and emphasizes creating connection and fun memories while you break a sweat.

DEFINITELY A NASHVILLE PARTY.
